Linceo

Terms of Service

1. Service description

Linceo ("the Service") is a personal project: non-custodial analytics and trade-signal software for two venues — the Hyperliquid perpetuals exchange and the Polymarket prediction market. It provides audited risk metrics, skeleton-check analysis, structural classification, copyability scoring and portfolio simulation on publicly-available wallet data from each venue's official APIs, and delivers alerts about wallets (traders) the user chooses to follow.

The optional "Copy" feature is a signal-replication tool: when the user explicitly authorises it, the software mirrors the trades of the wallets the user selected 1:1 using the user's own balance on the venue, through that venue's native non-custodial model — Hyperliquid's agent-wallet. On Polymarket the service is analytics and simulation only: their exchange has no delegated-signing mechanism, so no order is ever placed for the user. In Copy, Linceo does not manage, pool, hold or control any user capital and exercises no discretion over funds — it relays and replicates; the user's wallet executes.

LinceBot — in testing: you can link your accounts; LinceBot does not trade yet. When it does, it will be a systematic strategy designed by Linceo that trades the user's own Hyperliquid account through an agent the user authorises: Linceo decides the orders and its rules are not disclosed; the user chooses the risk level and can stop it at any time by revoking the agent. The Copy terms (1:1, no discretion) do not apply to LinceBot.

2. No investment advice, no custody of funds

The Service provides software, analytics and signals — not financial advice, not portfolio management, not a managed account. Linceo never holds or pools anyone's capital; LinceBot, when it trades, does so on the user's own account under rules set by Linceo (see §1). Metrics derive from public on-chain data; past performance does not guarantee future results. The user is solely responsible for choosing which wallets to follow or mirror and for the outcomes.

3. Non-custodial nature

Linceo never has access to user funds. All trading happens on the venue itself (Hyperliquid or Polymarket); the user retains full custody of their own wallet and is the only party who can withdraw.

The auto-copy feature is available on Hyperliquid only, and uses that venue's native non-custodial model: the user's own agent-wallet. It is hard-gated at the protocol level: the agent can place orders but can NEVER withdraw funds, transfer assets, or move capital out — only the owner (the user) can. The user can revoke authorisation at any time by signing a new ApproveAgent message with the same name on Hyperliquid.

4. Copy: faithful 1:1 replication — no discretion

The auto-copy feature does not let Linceo make discretionary trading decisions. The user explicitly selects which wallet(s) to mirror; the software then replicates each of those wallets' trades 1:1 — on Hyperliquid the same coin, direction and leverage — sized to the user's own available balance. If the proportional size falls below the venue's minimum order size, that minimum is used.

By authorising the agent, the user acknowledges they alone chose which wallets to follow and accept full responsibility for the replicated trades. In Copy, Linceo sets no positions of its own; it never holds user funds.

5. Geographic restrictions

The Service is not directed at users in jurisdictions where the underlying activity is restricted, and we do not market it there. We do not apply geoblocking: access is technically possible from anywhere, and it is your responsibility not to use it where it is unlawful. This includes, but is not limited to:

  • United States and US territories
  • United Kingdom (crypto-derivatives retail ban, FCA PS20/10)
  • Canada
  • OFAC-sanctioned countries

Users are responsible for ensuring their use complies with local law.

6. What it costs you, and how we earn

Auditing is free. Linceo has no subscription tiers and no recurring billing: analytics, alerts, watchlist, comparison and export cost nothing. Copy trading and LinceBot carry a 0.01% builder fee that you pay on your fills, as described below.

Donations are voluntary, grant no right to any service and are non-refundable. No funds ever transit an Linceo-controlled custodian.

Linceo sells no advertising and resells no user data, and its purpose is to show retail traders how the accounts that really win operate, with a demonstrable, empirical track record, so they do not fall for hype merchants. Auditing accounts is free. How Linceo earns (2026-09): when you activate copy trading or LinceBot, YOU pay a BUILDER FEE of 0.01% on the volume your orders generate; Hyperliquid charges it on your fills and passes it to Linceo. You see that exact rate before anything trades and you approve it yourself, in your own wallet (the approveBuilderFee signature); the fee goes to the Linceo builder address; without that approval Hyperliquid rejects the order, so nothing trades. It is our only source of revenue. Voluntary donations remain welcome and grant no advantage.

7. Risk

Copy trading and LinceBot involve substantial risk of loss. You copy real accounts with their real risk; a past record is no promise. Your orders are placed after the leader's, so the entry spread, server latency and execution can erase a thin edge entirely. With leverage you can lose more than you expected in a fast market. The risk level you choose for LinceBot scales daily gains and losses; over months it compounds, so it is not exactly proportional. Full disclosure at /legal/risk.

8. Testnet

Hyperliquid's testnet exists so you can verify that orders open and close correctly and get used to how the product works. Its prices, volumes and charts are broken relative to mainnet: testnet results DO NOT measure profitability and must not be used to evaluate any strategy.

9. Liability disclaimer

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Linceo is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. The team is not liable for any losses arising from use of the Service, including but not limited to: trading losses, slippage, network congestion, bugs in the venues' smart contracts, Hyperliquid or Polymarket platform outages, upstream data-API errors, or wallet compromise on the user's side.

10. Termination

The user may terminate use at any time by disconnecting their wallet and (if applicable) revoking the Copy agent. The Linceo team may suspend Service access for any user who violates these terms or whose use creates legal/operational risk.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. Material changes will be announced on-platform and via opt-in notifications. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

12. Contact

Linceo is a personal project. Because it charges the Hyperliquid builder fee (§6), which is an economic activity, the person responsible for it is identified here; the fields not yet filled in are not shown. Data-protection details are in the Privacy Policy.
